Rebecca Turner is a Surface Pattern Designer who is currently studying a MDes (Hons) degree in Surface Pattern Design. Her recent collection was inspired by the shapes and forms of delicate floras and botanical plants. Rebecca's passion for florals derives from them always having been of great importance to certain members of her family. With a love for drawing, very detailed and intricate studies are created, working from observation and memory. This allows for these hand- rendered drawings to be translated into illustrative prints and placements, as well as digital laser engravings. She loves to explore the beauty of crisp, articulated lines across a broad range of surfaces. Rebecca's recent degree show included laser engraved papers, digitally printed wallpapers and furnishing fabrics. Her practice is diverse, suitable for interior application, that could also be seen on the surface of a variety of products.
